I checked my fluid and it is brown and gross. I just want a little liquid to add back, and I wondered how to extract the old fluid in the container.

Pump out .. Tank furnace with a hot water pipe .. Adjustment of the pump and drain the liquid in the tube ..... fill to wash the tank with clean water and screen again ... Tony reg
